This month we feature Jason Smith's 2005 Saleen S281. You may have seen his '05 at the Spring Fling. Below are a few words from Jason. Enjoy!

I've now owned 5 Mustangs/Capris ('82 Capri RS, 85 GT, 82 Capri RS, 93 LX 5.0) and always admired the Mustang Saleen and considered it a dream car - until now!  I bought my Saleen new on March 18th of 2005 with the sole intent of keeping it as a show/collectors car.  I have all intentions of keeping it in showroom condition, but it will be so hard to keep the miles low as it is so fun to drive!  It took first place in the 1994+ Saleen Category at the 2005 Shelby Spring Fling in Nashville, IN on May 22nd, where I met some of the VERY nice folks in the SCOA - and of course decided to sign up! 

Some of its optional specs:  The car rides on the Saleen Optional Chrome Wheels (20x9 Front and 20x10 Rear) with Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 275 35's Front and 275 40's Rear, with Saleen Max Grip Differential.
