Mid-Atlantic Saleenfest 2005

July 8-10, 2005

Friday night the fun got started with a few gathering at Performance Autosport to cruise to dinner. Saturday was the main event of the three day weekend at the Mid-Atlantic Saleenfest 2005 in Richmond, VA. Performance Autosport hosted the Show on Saturday, and it was quite a gathering. There were 40 Saleens on display including a couple race cars, and many other "Special" Saleens. The Event garnered media coverage as there was a couple hundred people who managed to come by and enjoy the gathering. Saturday night several Club members gathered for dinner and socializing. All those at dinner favored swapping the cruise for a chance to meet up locally for brunch and relaxing conversation, and thus the plans for Sunday were set. After brunch, there was a short drive back to Performance Autosport to check out the shop again, this time with a bit less going on.

The day featured 40 Saleens on display throughout the day. We managed to catch most of them on film.

About 75 friends came by to say "Hi", check out all the Saleens, and show off one of their cars. A few of them are pictured here.
