Mid-Atlantic Region "Turkey Trot"

This was the Second Annual "Turkey Trot" put on by the SCOA-MAR. The drive was through Southern Maryland during its most breath taking time of the year. This year we had 17 people piled into 9 cars for a great afternoon drive. There was a mid cruise stop on the way at the Solomon's Island Pier to the final destination for Lunch at The Rod 'n Reel on the water at Chesapeake Beach. Before eating some of the best seafood in the world, a raffle for prizes was done with the tickets drawn by our youngest cruiser, and everyone went home a winner.  It was a great time enjoyed by all.
