I am the 4th owner
and the car was originally sold in Costa Mesa California. It
went to Washington State after purchase then made its way to
North Carolina to the second owner and on to Charleston S.C.
where I found it and purchased it from Tim Yeager.
She is 1 of 280 total build, 1 of 24 Dark Gray Metallic and 1 of
only 14 with her options. According to the Saleen book she did
not come with any special features. She has the original Kenwood
stereo and EQ. She is all original right down to the shift knob.
She was involved in an accident in California and poorly
repaired and issued a salvage title at the time. Once I got her
to Georgia, I ran her through the DOT and had her inspected and
the titled is now clear and no longer listed salvage. So that
helps bring her value up considerably. When I purchased the car
and went to title the car in Georgia, the state requires all
salvage title cars to be inspected before issuing a title. So
once that was done, the inspectors determined the damage was
minor enough to change the title to rebuilt and safe for the
road. At least Georgia was able to fix that discrepancy. I have
since taken the car completely apart and rebuilt her from bottom
to top including a new quarter panel and new paint job. There is
zero body filler on the car now and she is all metal without any
damage issues at all. As good as new! I installed a blown and
Nitrous built 5.0 that makes 510rwhp and 465rwtq without using
the Nitrous. Interior is completely redone with all new solid
gray material on the seats and retaining the original center
section material. The rear valance was an incorrect 88 model one
so I replaced it with a correct 87 rear valance. She is now back
to her original glory with just a Saleen optioned upgraded
engine. She also has the 17" STERNS Saleen offered in their
catalog as well as 13" Rotors with 4 piston Saleen/Brembo
calipers. I installed a Tremec TKO transmission and 3.55 gears
in an auburn differential. The car looks and drives awesome.

Future
plans are to build a 331 stroker motor with the same upper setup
and blower. I'm looking to make somewhere around 650 to 700rwhp
at that point. That won't happen until I win the lottery though!
I still have all the original drivetrain so if I ever wanted her
back to stock I can just drop the original engine back into the
car.
