The Saleen Club of America has committed to help a concerned and caring son of a stricken Saleen owner in Australia.

Tony Day, our Australian Rep, posted this compelling story on our club's forum and we are reaching out to members and enthusiasts to help this very caring son.

Late News - Saleen Performance Vehicles is donating the SuperShaker and shipping to Australia.

A MEMBERSHIP in the Saleen Club of America for George Fus has also been donated and the money collected will be donated to BENEFIT FOR KIDS in his name.

The Story - Last night Brenda & I went out for dinner in the PJ, as we pulled up at the restaurant I noticed a young man admiring the car. When we had parked the car he approached us and said it was really good to see such a stunning vehicle. He introduced himself then went on to tell us his father had purchased a new '08 Silver Extreme, thinking he must have lived on the eastern seaboard I was shocked to find out he was actually living about 8 miles from our home. Then he explained why the car had only done 300 kilometers in the last 2 years, His father took delivery of the car and drove it home, several days later he complained of headaches and went to the doctors only to be confronted with the news he had a large tumor on his brain.........after 5 operations since it has virtually left him bed ridden, only being able to get up on the occasional good days. He has got a very caring loving son, who on the odd occasion will take his father for a drive in the car he so badly wanted and loves. His Dad was hoping to have a Super Shaker fitted but the dealer in Sydney isn't all that excited about doing the job, so I will offer to do it for his father as a gesture of the Saleen Fun & Friendship the SCOA is renowned for if the occasion arises. Moral of this story enjoy life now none of us know what is around the corner, too many good people struck down in their prime. Enjoy your partners and Saleens.
